font-family:Arial'>cheap is the basic, greedy thrill of book collecting. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>The second pleasure is simply that of making a

font-family:Arial'>objects that are related in some way and then filling in

font-family:Arial'>and binding (not to mention writing). Raised in a house
filled <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>with old books, I'm drawn to them: the dust jackets that
call <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>out a historical moment, the marbled boards, the words
pressed <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
