*יום ה' הקרוב 5.7 בירושלים: במקרה של חשש לפיגוע, מה מותר לכיתת כוננות של
יישוב לעשות? *

*-משפט חשוב נוסף, בעל ערך ציוני-ציבורי*

הערעור במשפטם של האחים דני ואיציק חלמיש, המתנהל מאז 2/2004, יישמע ביום
חמישי י"ט בתמוז (5.7) בשעה 13:00 בבית המשפט המחוזי בירושלים, ברחוב צלאח
א-דין 40, באולם השופטת מוסיה ארד.
*רקע:* דני ואיציק, שניהם חברי כיתת הכוננות של היישוב שלהם מעלה רחבעם, הורשעו
ב"תקיפת" ערבים אשר נראו כמי שמתקרבים ליישוב למטרות עויינות.  הוגש
ערעור באמצעות עורך הדין יורם שפטל מפני שממצאי המז"פ (המחלקה לזיהוי פלילי של
משטרת ישראל) התאימו דווקא לגרסתם של  דני ואיציק וסתרו את דברי הערבים אשר
דווקא הם התקבלו באהדה ויחס של אימון ע"י השופט. הציבור מוזמן מפני חשיבותו של
משפט הזה למעמדם של כיתות הכוננות ביישובים, האם אכן מותר לחברי כיתת כוננות
לטפל רק בפיגוע שכבר התחיל ועליהם להתעלם מסממני פיגוע?? (רק זה חסר לנו...).

*רצח אופי בתל-אביב נגד עיר האבות!*
ביום ה' הקרוב 5.7  בתל-אביב: *משמרת מחאה* נגד שחקני הבימה והקאמרי שעושים
רצח-אופי מכוון לעיר האבות חברון (בהמשך לשבוע שעבר שבו נערכה משמרת מחאה מאד
מוצלחת). מפגינים מול אולם אריסון שבו מתקיימת הצגת ההסתה "חברון". רח' סעדיה
גאון 7 בתל-אביב, משעה 19 עד שעה 20 (7 בערב עד 8 בערב). לפרטים: שרה 03

*יום ג' הקרוב 10.7 ברחבי הארץ: הסיבוב השני והמכריע בבחירות לראש לשכת עורכי
הדין *
המועמדים הם: מועמד השמאל (גוון של מר"צ) יורי גיא-רון (מועמד שנתמך ע"י  ראש
לשכת עו"ד הפורש ורב העוצמה, שלמה כהן המקורב למר"צ). מולו רץ עו"ד אילן בומבך,
מועמד ימני/דתי מתון - אבל בוודאי הרבה יותר טוב מהנ"ל, מכל בחינה לאומית.
יו"ר לשכת עו"ד הוא אדם רב כח במערכת המשפטית. כשהוא משסה את המערכת נגד מאחזים
למשל -- יש לזה משקל רב. הוא גם מסוגל להשפיע הרבה מאד על הרכבי שופטים במיוחד
בבית המשפט העליון.
* נא להזכיר מייד לכל חבריכם שהינם עורכי דין, שביום ג' הקרוב עליהם לגשת לבתי
המשפט הקרובים למקום מגוריהם/עבודתם ולהצביע.
* *יש תזכורת - יש הצלחה!* רוב רובם של עורכי הדין הימניים (בניגוד לעורכי
הדין המאורגנים היטב בשמאל...) פשוט לא טורחים להצביע, זהו פספוס!! אם לא תזכיר
בנימוס לחבריך הימניים שהינם עו"ד  להצביע לבומבך - הם פשוט לא יבואו!!

* *7 - 8 PM sidewalk vigil in Tel Aviv* protesting the *anti-Hebron play
being put on by HaBima and Cameri* whose objective is clearly to present
Hebron in a bad light as a frightening place full of death that is best

* *1 PM important trial in Jerusalem* -- pertaining to *the right of
self-defense in small Yesha communities*, in particular if Palestinian
men wander close to the settlement and seem to have no business there, what
are the residents of the settlement entitled to do, can they keep the
Palestinian strangers away although these strangers have not started
shooting yet? On trial: the Halamish brothers, both members of their
yishuv's official defense team ("kitat konenut"). Courtroom of Judge Mussia
Arad, Mechozi (District) Court, 40 Salach-a-Din St., Jerusalem. Make sure
there is no change in the time (which happens frequently) by calling Dani
Halamish, one of the 2 brothers, at 0544342307.

*Reminder: Your lawyer friends must vote on Tuesday 10 July*.
The head of the Lishkat Orchei ha-Din will be determined in this final
round. Either Yuri Gai-Ron, the Meretz-flavored candidate, or the mildly
right-wing/traditional candidate Ilan Bombach, will win. Voter participation
is usually unbelievably low, so if each of us pleasantly reminds one or two
lawyers -- this can easily -- easily -- make the difference between a win
and a lose. Lawyers: vote in any courthouse, in many, many locations all
over the country. Call or email your lawyer acquaintances right now before
you forget. Tuesday 10 July is D-Day. Thank you.
