*מתי?* ביום חמישי 24.5  ז' סיון בשעה 16:00 (עד שעה 19:00 לערך)

*מדוע?* כדי להשיק נושא חדש: הצורך לפתוח את כביש נגוהות לתנועת רכבים באופן
חופשי, כדי למנוע חניקת היישוב הקטן נגוהות שכרגע אין לו כביש גישה לשאר
היישובים . גישה שמותרת רק כשיש ליווי צבאי - אינה באמת גישה.

*מה בתכנית* ? ניסע ברכבים על הכביש המדובר, מאדוריים לנגוהות. אם צה"ל לא
יאפשר זאת - נלך ברגל. בעבר, בארועים דומים, המשטרה לעיתים עיכבה צועדים בודדים
לזמן קצר (מספר שעות) ו/או נתנה להם זימון לחקירה.

*כיצד להגיע לאדוריים?*

* *** מכיוון** **ירושלים **:* נסיעה על כביש 60 דרומה, עד לבית חגי. כ-2-3 ק"מ
אח"כ ישנו  מחסום צה"לי. להמשיך ישר ומייד אח"כ פניה ימינה (מערבה) לבסיס צבאי
אדוריים .

* ***** מכיוון באר שבע**:* נוסעים על כביש 60 עד לעתניאל ומשם עוד כ-5 ק"מ
פניה שמאלה (מערבה) לכוון בסיס אדוריים.

* ***** תחבורה ציבורית*: קו 440 מתחנה מרכזית בירושלים בשעה 14:50, עובר דרך
ק. ארבע בערך ב-15:40 **

*רקע* : נגוהות הוא יישוב קטן במקום חשוב, באזור הר חברון. לפני שבע שנים, עברו
אזורים נרחבים בהר חברון, שלא היו מיושבים על ידי יהודים, לשליטת המשטרה
הפלשתינאית (שטח A). בנוסף - אולי במאמץ ליצור תקדים - הועבר גם קטע מכביש
הגישה אל היישוב נגוהות. מאז הכל קרס , וחברי ה"משטרה" הפלשתינאית (שהיתה אמורה
"להגן" על כביש אדוריים-נגוהות) נתגלו כמי שהשתתפו בעצמם בכמה וכמה פיגועים.

בכל זאת,  נהלי הנסיעה בכביש מחייבים ליווי מפני שצה"ל לא מוכן להגן על הכביש
באופן "מרחבי" (כלומר צה"ל לא מוכן להפוך את הכביש למקום בטוח ע"י ביצוע פעולות
מודיעיניות, מעצרים של מחבלים, תפיסת נקודות שמהם ניתן לצלוף על הכביש,
ועוד. (  ומה
הלאה? אם מספיק אנשים יבואו, נוכל להראות שזהו נושא ציבורי - ואז, הנושא יטופל
(כך עולה מנסיון העבר).

*משפט נוסף* *: **אלימות משטרתית נגד ה"כתומים" (ואחרים...):*

*DAY AFTER SHAVUOT - WALK TO HELP NEGOHOT** *

Negohot is a small yishuv that needs your help. On Thursday 24.5 (the day
after Shavuot) from 4 PM - 7 PM they are having a march along their road,
which connects them to the next yishuv and from there to "their" local city
-- Kiryat Arba, where they work, study (children) and get medical care.

Unfortunately, their road has been closed off because it used to be
considered Palestinian territory -- since the infamous Oslo Accords defined
it as Area A (whoops -- the politicians didn't notice there was actually a
yishuv there until it was too late). The people of Negohot can only use
their road if escorted by a (rare) military escort, so essentially they are
under siege. They do have a back road but this takes them to precisely the
wrong direction -- to faraway Kiryat Gat, which is not where any of them
either work or study!!

If the people of Negohot get a good turnout on their walk, they will be able
to raise their road (their lives) as a public issue (just like Brown vs. The
Board of Education in the USA) and their problem will get solved. So, if you
can -- please join them.  The plan, ostensibly, is to drive to Negohot from
the next yishuv on the way to Kiryat Arba (called Adorayim), however, since
this almost certainly will not be permitted -- please be ready to make the
walk which is the next alternative. In the past, the police have
occasionally detained a few people for a few hours under similar
circumstances, or have "summoned them for questioning" later.

**

*Directions* : The walk starts at Adorayim. From Jerusalem, take a 440 bus
from the Central Bus Station at 14:50. This goes thru Kiryat Arba at about
15:40. Driving from Jerusalem: Take Kvish 60 south to Bet Hagai. 2 - 3 km
later turn west to the Adorayim army base (continue straight after the army
"machsom"). Driving from Beer-Sheva, use Kvish 60 to get to Otniel. About 5
km later, turn west to the Adorayim base. Questions? Call Negohot

  " *Well known families " are hassling Israeli army officers*

On 15 May the Maariv newspaper ran a piece about "radical pro-Palestinian
groups" at Harvard University; these are trying to hassle the IDF's former
chief of staff because of the IDF's purported "war crimes" against the
Palestinians, poor things. Reporter Ben Caspit wrote that some of these
Harvard lunatics are "sons of well known families in Israel" -- but chose  not
to inform his readers which families he is referring to. If you are anxious
to find out and think you deserve to know -- by all means, email Ben Caspit
kaspit at maariv.co.il, in Hebrew, and urge him to please publish the names of
the families in question. For example – the Olmert family would not happen
to be one of the families, would it? Kindly send a bcc copy of your letter
