*Senate Resolution which is dangerous for Israel*
Senate Resolution 321 (S.RES. 321) has just been introduced in anticipation
of the upcoming "peace" conference in November. The resolution " calls on
President Bush to ... make a 2-state settlement a top priority".
** Why is that bad?
a. A 2-state settlement means establishing a new Arab ("Palestinian") state
in Judea and Samaria. These areas are just a bike-ride away from all of
Israel's major cities (Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, etc.) and from Israel's sole
international airport (Ben-Gurion airport). Such a state would be an
existential danger to the only Jewish state in the world -- Israel. Better *one
less* Arab state -- than *no more* Jewish state.
b. A recent poll (by Pew, an international research group) found that 70% of
Palestinians support suicide bombings. Should a people with these attitudes
be rewarded with their own state?
c. Tiny Israel already has an active Northern front (last year's Lebanon
war) and an active Southern front (Sderot and its rockets). Should the
United States really urge her to add a third front -- this time in Central
Israel, where 70% of Israel's population resides??
*PLEASE TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION:*

==================================
Dear Mr. Zachary Farley,
I have recently learned that PM Olmert, Israel's highly unpopular Prime
Minister, gave $16 million to PA Pres. Mahmoud Abbas who in turn handed the
money over to Hamas. Hamas is on the State. Dept.'s Foreign Terrorist
Organizations (FTO) list. Giving money to an FTO is against the law, and
part of the punishment for breaking the law is that the person cannot enter
the U.S.
Secy. of State Condoleezza Rice is also advocating giving money to Abbas,
money which Abbas is likely to turn over, in part, to Hamas and Al Aqsa
Martyrs Brigade.
So my question is, "How come Ms. Rice is inviting PM Olmert and Mahmoud
Abbas to Washington in November for a summit, when on the face of it, both
cannot enter the U.S. because of their funding terrorism?"
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from
you soon.

*Background information re: Big problems looming over Israel*
Everyone keeps saying that the November USA-Arab-Israel conference "must"
decide to set up a monster ... a Palestinian state.
We really need our friends in the United States to urgently contact their
Jewish newspapers, radio shows, radio stations, their rabbis and presidents
of their synagogues and organizations, and ask: " *Why* is American policy
supporting a Palestinian state right next to Tel Aviv?"
Press the person you are speaking to: "I understand from my contacts in
Israel that Israeli polls show that Israelis do not want to have a new
terrorist state right next to them. How can you, rabbi/president/editor,
help to make sure, at least, that American policy is not pushing something
fatal for Israel in the context of the upcoming November International
conference? Should we not be concerned that Palestinian statehood right next
door to Tel-Aviv, and the rockets and suicide bombings that will come with
it -- might terminate the State of Israel, the only Jewish state in the
world?
How can the IDF fight on 3 fronts (North, South and Central Israel) all at
once, which is what will happen if the "Palestinian state" ever comes to
fruition? Is it appropriate for someone like you, who enjoys a position of
influence, to remain silent on this side of the ocean, if our own American
policy is so crucially instrumental in shaping this threat?"
Any media outfit, Jewish or otherwise, however minor, which raises the issue
of NOT pushing Israel to establish a Palestinian state, would be extremely
helpful to us here. So please, call the newspaper, radio station and TV
station (Jewish or otherwise) that YOU patronize.
We also need at least some of the pro-Israel leaders in the US to speak up
AGAINST a Palestinian state, and this should get done before November --
say, even only (in alphabetical order) Agudath Israel USA, Mr. Malcolm
Hoenlein, Lubavitch USA, the OU, Pastor Hagee, Young Israel and ZOA. If even
only these few leaders decide to use, for the good, their contacts in the
White House and on Capitol Hill and -- most important -- in the media -- the
terrible "Palestinian state" plans looming over us in Israel will, in all
probability, be repealed. So -- please call these leaders if you are in
touch with them. Or email them; using the following email addresses:
dzwiebel at agudathisrael.org
info at conferenceofpresidents.org
hq at lubavitch.com
info at ou.org
cufirrt at cufi.org
execvp at youngisrael.org
info at zoa.org
Even better: persuade your local Jewish (or other) newspaper editor, Jewish
reporter or Jewish talk-show host, to call these leaders on your behalf.
After all -- what are talk shows for??
We thank all our friends in the USA, Jewish and otherwise, for extending a
helping hand -- extending your helpful hand as far as your telephone
receiver -- to save Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and Ben-Gurion airport from turning
into monstrous versions of little Sderot. If you are helping with this --
helping to save Israel -- please write to us at mattot.arim at gmail.com and
indicate who you spoke to, when, and what was their reply.
Sometimes the efforts of several people can be pieced together at our end,
into something much bigger than you ever thought possible when you made your
"little" phone call. At a bris, Jews say: "Zeh ha-katan, gadol yihiyeh!"
(the small one will become big). This is what may happen as a result of YOUR
phone call: your tiny initiative may be merited to become a big, big help to
Israel. So many thanks for your concern. And pass this email on.
