*האם אתה גר בירושלים??*

לכל אנשי ארץ ישראל בירושלים: חשוב מאד מאד לגשת לבג"צ (בית המשפט העליון
בירושלים) מחר יום ה' 17.1 בשעה 11:30 בבוקר. יהיה שם משפט חשוב מאד בנושא בית
השלום - הבית המפורסם ביותר בחברון.

מדובר בבית דירות שנרכש בכסף מלא מערבים שמהווה תקדים משפטי ואליו נשואות כל
העיניים בפרקליטות. אין שום ספק בעובדות, אבל במזרח התיכון לא העובדות הן
הקובעות, אלא הלחץ הפוליטי, ולכן שר הבטחון אהוד ברק אמר למשל שהוא צריך אישית
לאשר כל קניית דירה ביהודה ושומרון אחרת זה לא חוקי (איזה חוצפה: תיכף ברק או
אולמרט גם יחליטו שהם צריכים לאשר כל לידת תינוק, תארו לעצמכם כמה תינוקות
לא-חוקיים יהיו לנו אז).

מדובר בסיפור קפקאי ממש. כדאי מאד להגיע. קודם כל סתם מעניין להיות נוכח (יש
לשריין כ-2 עד 3 שעות). אבל מה שיותר חשוב - למרבה הצער, שופטי הבג"צ הנבזיים,
כשיש תיק של מתנחלים, אוהבים קודם כל לנקות את האולם ע"י כך שהם מסלקים קודם כל
את כל התיקים האחרים ואז הרי כל הקהל הולך חוץ מהמתנחלים שנותרים אחרונים. לאחר
מכן כשהאולם ריק השופטים מתנהגים בנבזיות גלויה כלפי המתנחלים. בבג"צ אין
פרוטוכלים מסודרים ולפעמים אין פרוטוכל בכלל ולכן לשופטים לעיתים הם חסרי כל
בושה כלפי אחינו המתנחלים . למשל (רק דוגמה אחת מני אלף), מתנחל ידוע מדולב פעם
הגיש בג"צ והשופטים לא התביישו להגיד לו שהם דוחים את העתירה שלו למרות שלא
קראו אותה. כדי למנוע לפחות התעמרות בוטה מצד שופטי הבג"צ בעניין חשוב זה -
עלינו לנסות לדאוג שיהיה קהל בבית המשפט. *נא להעביר הודעה זו מייד לחברים ובני
משפחה שגרים בירושלים במיוחד פנסיונרים.*

 לפעמים הליך בבית משפט מתבטל "במקרה" ברגע האחרון. רצוי להתקשר בבוקר ליישוב

*חדשות טובות: מפלגתו של אביגדור ליברמן עזבה את הממשלה היום*:

יש לפקסס למשרדו של השר הפורש ליברמן ולהגיד תודה רבה מקרב לב, או לשלוח מייל:
aliberman at knesset.gov.il    או בפקס 6547101-02.
זה לא *רק* כדי לתת לשר המתפטר תחושה אישית טובה (אחר הכל - גם ליברמן הוא
בן-אדם...). יש למיילים שלנו שימוש פרקטי. שר מתפטר רוצה להראות לעיתונאים
שהציבור תומך בו ונלהב מהצעד שלו. לכן נא לשלוח מייל (או פקס). למשל (עדיף
במילים שלך): "*תודה רבה לכבוד השר ליברמן על פרישתו מממשלת אולמרט. אולמרט הוא
ראש ממשלה גרוע מאד - לכן צעדך היה הכרחי. הסכמתי עם הדברים החשובים שאמרת
היום, למשל: "משא ומתן של שטחים תמורת שלום זו טעות גורלית. מי שהולך על
העיקרון הזה מביא חורבן על מדינת היהודים. השטחים הם לא המכשול לשלום, גם לפני
67' היה סכסוך.  אם נחזור לקווי 67' הטרור לא ייפסק. אי אפשר לקבל מצב שבו תהיה
מדינה פלשתינית בלי יהודי אחד, בזמן שמדינת ישראל תהפוך למדינה דו-לאומית. מו"מ
במתווה אנאפוליס מנציח את הדבר הזה."*

בתגובה להתפטרותו החשובה של השר ליברמן, השר אלי ישי אמר שימשיך לשבת על כסאו.
השר ישי גר בירושלים ולכן רק אם ישאו ויתנו בנושא ירושלים הוא יפרוש. קשה מאד
להבין את השר ישי. ניתן רק להסיק, שהשר ישי איכשהו טרם הצליח להבין, ש"מדינה
פלשיתנית" זה מילת קוד לטילים בתל-אביב, נמל תעופה בן-גוריון וירושלים. השר אלי
ישי גם חושב, שאם מקימים מדינה פלשתינית בלי להגיד במפורש את מילת הקוד
"ירושלים", אז יקרה נס והטילים שישוגרו מן המדינה הפלשתינית הזו לכיוון ירושלים
-  ינהגו באופן שנוגד את כח הכובד ובמקום ליפול ארצה - יצופו באוויר כמו
בלונים. אפשר לנסות, לא בפעם הראשונה, להבהיר את עובדות העניין לשר אלי ישי

*The Bagatz (High Court of Justice) calls!!!*

If you live in Jerusalem, please attend the super-important Bagatz tomorrow
morning (Thursday morning 17 Jan) at 11:30 AM.  This is held in the
Jerusalem High Court. The event may take as long as about 3 hours. You and
any member of the public are entitled to be in the audience. The topic is
the famous Bet Hashalom apartment house in Hebron where 10 Jewish families
live. It was purchased legally, but still, as usual, the State insists on
doing everything possible to devise a way to throw these families out of
their apartments and we all hope and pray they will not succeed tomorrow.

These legal proceedings are not only extremely interesting to observe, they
are also extremely important. The Bagatz judges behave completely
differently when people are in the audience: if only "settlers" are there,
judges have been known to become absolutely impossible and irrational and to
lose any vestige of professionality in their zeal to "do the settlers in".
 Of course, there is no detailed protocol of Bagatz proceedings, so when
no-one is there, judges can truly do as they please. The conclusion? Every
person in the audience tomorrow will be making a very big contribution -- AT
LEAST as large as when you attend a demonstration. Please therefore forward
this message to any friends you have in Jerusalem -- especially retired
people or tourists who have time in the morning.  You may wish to call the
Hebron office before you leave the house tomorrow (Thu) morning just in case

*Minister Liberman resigned today -- Minister Eli Yishai refuses to follow *

We are all very grateful to Mr. Liberman for resigning from the Olmert
Government. This was an excellent step. Land-for-Peace equals failure, said
Mr. Liberman earlier today (Wed.). Liberman said the land-for-peace formula
that has governed Israeli negotiations for nearly 20 years has been a
dramatic failure, and stressed that "There was terrorism ...before 1967
[when Israel liberated Judea and Samaria]... Anyone who chooses to ignore
that fact brings destruction to the Jewish state". Liberman added
that "Anyone who says [Israel's conflict] with the Arabs is about territory,
settlements or outposts is deceiving himself and others."

When a minister finally resigns in Israel, it is very very important to
simply write and thank him. Your letter of thanks should go to:
aliberman at knesset.gov.il. It will probably be shown to reporters. The
Subject Line should be labelled "Letter of Thanks", "Thank you from YOUR
NAME" or "Thanks from an Oleh living in CITY" etc., so the aides will know
they should print out your letter and put it in the pile of thank you
letters that the minister will be showing reporters from Israel and abroad
to show that his resignation was a good idea and well-accepted by everyone.

Despite our letter of yesterday, do NOT mention the teenage dissident girls
who have been in jail for weeks in your letter to Mr. Liberman's office. If
Mr. Liberman has resigned, the responsibility for these girls, from today,
belongs solely to Minister Eli Yishai who can be reached at Fax
