לאחר כמעט 8 שנים בהן קבר רחל סגור לכניסת כלי רכב פרטיים, הכביש לקבר רחל סוף
סוף פתוח החל מראש חודש אלול לכל סוגי הרכב. כבר אין  צורך בהמתנה אין סופית
לאטובוסים משוריינים. מדובר בתקופת "נסיון" של חודש, ולכן חשוב ביותר לעשות כל
מאמץ להגיע ברכבכם הפרטי לקבר רחל בחודש שנותר עד ראש השנה. קבר רחל פתוח מסביב
לשעון.

ישר כל הזמן. עוברים את צומת הרוזמרין בגילה, ממשיכים ישר דרומה עד למחסום 300
(משמר הגבול) וממשיכים ישר דרך חומות הבטון לקבר רחל -(לא לפנות למעבר רחל. יש
חיילים במקום שיוכלו לכוון אתכם. לנוסעים מגילה, לפנות ימינה (דרומה)
בצומת הרוזמרין ולהמשיך ישר למחסום 300 ולקבר רחל כנ"ל.  נא להפיץ!

*Kever Rachel Now Open *

KEVER RACHEL NOW OPEN TO PRIVATE CARS (not just special busses)

As of Monday morning, 1 Sept Rosh Chodesh Elul - no more waiting endlessly
for bullet proof buses. Drive to Kever Rachel as easily as you drive to your
local supermarket. This is a tremendous breakthrough. It is EXTREMELY
IMPORTANT to drive to Kever Rachel THIS MONTH which is a "trial month" as
far as the army is concerned.

Directions: If you are driving from central Jerusalem, take Derech Hevron
straight south. Pass the Gilo Rozmarin junction and continue straight south.
You will reach a Border Police roadblock. Continue straight from there.
Eventually, you will see concrete walls on both sides of you. Continue
straight to Kever Rachel. Do not turn to Ma'avar Rachel. There are plenty of
Border Police around to ask for directions. If you are coming from Gilo,
turn right at the Rozmarin junction and continue as above. Info: Shelli

Rav Perlow told a caller who asked him politely what about the recent
developments in negotiations of giving away 93 percent of Yesha not to
bother him. Who else should we bother if not Rosh Moetzet Gedolei Hatorah
whose every word is followed by hundreds of thousands of Jews?.Getting some
annoying phone calls can not compared with the consequences of tragic
proportions should these negotiations actualize.Will we have to face our
Creator on Yom Hadin because of our Silence?  How full of shame we will
feel.

ACTION: (1) Please call Rav Perlow the Noveminker Rav at 718-436-1133 home.
Rav Perlow is Rosh Moetzet Gedolei Hatorah in Agudath Yisroel of America.
They have a Washington Office and a network of hundreds of thousands of
caring Jews that can be mobilized. Every school child can write a letter.
Every parent can pick up the phone to the White House.  Business as usual
can be put on hold when the lives of our brethren are on the line.
(2) Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky (215-477-1000 Yeshiva 215-473-2798 home) is the
spiritual mentor of the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation that reaches over
50,000 caring Jews on Tisha Baav alone  and are networked to thousands of
shuls and schools worldwide.  They can mobilize Am Yisroel to show their
love for Eretz Yisroel with concrete action and not just in a world of
inspiring lectures that are not implemented.    (3) Please email responses

*Palestinian state now?? Coming soon -- flyers to put in mailboxes - We need
organizers, financial donations, and people who like walking & have alot of
spare time*

We need to get flyers into people's mailboxes (or on the cars) in the towns
and cities in central Israel, explaining that "Palestinian state" means that
rockets are going to start falling right into people's living rooms. And
also onto Ben-Gurion airport (no international airport -- no economy).

This is an emergency, so, if you think you:

   - can be an organizer -- finding 15 - 20 friends to pass out the flyers
   in your city ("covering" a small city takes about 200 volunteer-hours total)
   OR
   - if you can give a financial gift for this purpose of 200 NIS and up
   - OR if you are not working so can "donate" 200 hours of flyer
