על אף המלחמה, הבחירות טרם נדחו. הם ייערכו בעוד חודש, ב-10 לפברואר. מפלגות
השמאל ממשיכות בתעמולה שלהם.

לכן, במוצאי שבת,  יתקיים *כנס של האיחוד הלאומי* בהשתתפות פרופ' אריה אלדד.
(מוצאי שבת  הזה, 10/1/08 בשעה 20:00 ב"מרכז הישראלי" ברחוב קרן היסוד 22, קוי
אוטובוס מתחנה מרכזית בירושלים: 7, 8, 21, 74.) כל מי שאין עליו עומס בשל
המלחמה, מוזמן מאד להגיע.

*האם יש לעזור רק לאיחוד הלאומי?*

לא רק.  נעזור *לכל* מפלגה שאכפת לה מחייהם של אזרחי מדינת ישראל!!

נעזור לכל מפלגה שכואב לה מה שקורה לחיילינו ואזרחינו בדרום ולכן היא מתחייבת
לא לחזור על טעויות העבר!!

מדהים: יש עדיין מועמדים רבים לכנסת, ואפילו מפלגות שלמות, *שאינם
מתנגדים*להקמת מדינה פלשתינית!

ברור לכולם, *כבר עכשיו*, שמדינה פלשתינית תכניס את איזור המרכז כולו לטווח
הטילים, כפי שההתנתקות הכניסה את הדרום כולו לטווח הטילים!!

אמש, פעילי מטות ערים החלו לפנות בדחיפות לכל המועמדים הראליים בכל המפלגות.

אנו מבקשים מאותם מועמדים ומפלגות, לחתום על התחייבות ציבורית, של התנגדות *בכל
תוקף* להקמת מדינה פלשתינית.

הרי לאחר מה שקרה בדרום - מי ירצה להצביע למפלגה שמוכן לסכן 3 מליון תושבים
באיזור המרכז?

*אנו שמחים להודיע* שמועמדי *האיחוד הלאומי* *כבר חתמו* על ההתחייבות הציבורית
להתנגד להקמת מדינה פלשתינית. (ולכן פרסמנו את *הכנס שלהם במוצאי שבת* ... בואו
כולם!!!)

   - בנוסף, ככל שהצלחנו להבין, מועמדי *הבית היהודי* כנראה יחתמו בקרוב מאד
   (אנו מקווים להודיע לכם על כך, כבר במייל הבא!).
   - כמו כן, יתכן מאד שגם *ש"ס* תחתום על ההתחייבות הציבורית החשובה. נודיע
   לכם על כך בהמשך.
   - לא שמענו עדיין ממועמדי *הליכוד* ו"*ישראל ביתנו*". נעדכן אתכם בהמשך.

 כל מי שיש לו גישה למועמדים לכנסת הבאה, נא ליצור קשר דחוף:

3. מי ברשימת האיחוד הלאומי לכנסת? מספר 1 כצ'לה (ממייסדי היישוב בית אל, אחד
היישובים הגדולים והמוצלחים ביהודה ושומרון), 2 ח"כ אורי אריאל, 3 ח"כ פרופ'
אריה אלדד, 4 ד"ר מיכאל בן ארי, 5 אורי בנק, 6 אלון דוידי, 7 פרופ' רון בריימן
וכו' . עלינו לעבוד קשה כדי לנסות ולקבל לפחות עשרה מנדטים.

משפחת ליכט מרחובות הציעה שנרכז במייל הבא, במקום אחד, את כל היוזמות (אירוח,
חבילות, דעת קהל עולמי לטובת ישראל  וכו') - לטובת הציבור שרוצה להתנדב ולסייע
וכשרוצים לעזור - איכשהו לא מוצאים את המידע. לצורך הזה, נא העבירו מידע מתאים

FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE NOT INVOLVED IN THE WAR EFFORT HENCE ARE ABLE TO
HELP  THE ICHUD LEUMI GAIN AS MANY SEATS AS POSSIBLE IN THE ELECTIONS TO BE
HELD IN A MONTH'S TIME, PLEASE COME TO A MEETING: THIS COMING MOTSAEI
SHABBAT , January 10th, IN JERUSALEM. 8:00pm AT THE ISRAEL CENTER , KEREN
HAYESOD STREET 22. Busses from Jerusalem Central Bus Station:  7, 8, 21, 74.

*What's the recommendation? Should we help ONLY the Ichud Leumi? *

We should all help ALL parties which are opposed to the notion of a
Palestinian state. As absolutely everybody knows, simply from looking at the
map, a Palestinian state will put all the big cities in Central Israel into
rocket range, just as disengagement from Gush Katif put all of Southern
Israel into rocket range. We simply CANNOT make the same mistake again, this
time on a larger scale!!

*But how can we know which are the "good" parties which are against
Palestinian state???*

Mattot Arim has just drafted a written Declaration, allowing Knesset
candidates and parties to give a clear campaign promise, that they will
oppose establishment of a terror state in Judea and Samaria.  We will keep
you posted on who signs it.

We started distributing the Declaration to Israel's politicians last
night. The Ichud Leumi candidates have already signed the declaration
(that's why we are happy to publicize ther Saturday night meeting, see
above, please come!). In addition, it is our understanding that the Bayit
Yehudi candidates will be signing the Declaration shortly, in which case we
will all of course be anxious to assist them as well. We may be able to
update you about this in our next email. Shas has also expressed interest in
the Declaration and they may give us their campaign promise too, in which
case, again, we will update you. We have not yet heard from any Likud or
Yisrael Beytenu or Yahadut haTorah candidates or chairpersons, and we will
keep you posted on that as well.

If you happen to have access to any realistic candidate, or party
chairperson, please IMMEDIATELY contact Susie at  sddym at Bezeqint.net. We
will forward a copy of the Declaration to you, and you can urge the
candidate or party chairperson that you have access to, to sign this most
important and life-saving Declaration TODAY!

*More details about Saturday night's Ichud Leumi event:***

a. Speaker: Prof. Aryeh Eldad, candidate for Ichud Leumi, former department
chairman at Hadassah Hospital, founder of Israel's skin bank, former head of
Israel's Medical Corps.

b. If you plan on coming to this event, pls email organizer Nadia Matar
nmatar at netvision.net.il so she will know more or less how many people to
expect.

c. Even if you can't come this Saturday night, but are willing to help in
any way, please send your name, phonenumber and street address to
nmatar at netvision.net.il.

d. Your presence will be very helpful in preventing tens of thousands of
Jews from losing their homes, and millions of others from becoming "sitting
ducks" in Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and other crowded cities. Our rights to the
Land of Israel must come first!

f. Elections are on for ONE MONTH from now: 10 February. The left is
campaigning. It's time to show ourselves (unless the elections are
postponed).

g. Note the Ichud Leumi's Anglo representative:  Uri Bank, formerly from the
United States. Incidentally, long before he became a public figure, Uri was
a founding member of Mattot Arim; he set up Matteh Gilo in Jerusalem back in
the Oslo days. We all wish the best of luck to Uri!!

*Special war note*: The Licht family from Rehovot has suggested that inr our
next email, we make one well-organized list of ALL initiatives needed for
the war effort (hosting Southern families, sending toys for housebound
children, the war on public opinion in the US & Europe, etc.), each with
relevant contact info. Please send in whatever relevant info you happen to
encounter so each of us doesn't have to make his or her own search through
the Internet to find out what's needed. Thanks!
