*יום חמישי 4.3 קריטי לארץ ישראל  Thursday 4 March:D-day *



מרכז הליכוד הוא גוף המאגד את כל עסקני הליכוד. ישנם כ-2000 "חברי מרכז" בגוף
הזה, והם הקובעים האם השרים וחברי הכנסת יצביעו בעד או נגד יהודה
ושומרון, הגולן וירושלים.



מרכז הליכוד  נבחר לפני זמן רב - בתקופת עמרי שרון -  לכן רבים מאנשי המרכז
כיום, הם אנשי שמאל ו"קדימה".



בעוד יומיים (יום חמישי 4 במרץ, בין 10 בבוקר ל-10 בלילה) יש הצבעה קריטית ב-22
ערים בארץ. בהצבעה ישתתפו אותם 2000 חברי מרכז ליכוד והם יקבעו, האם לאפשר
בחירות חדשות לגוף הזה (מרכז הליכוד) או להמשיך עם מרכז הליכוד הקיים, השמאלי,
 ולדחות את קיום הבחירות שם בשנתיים.



קיים חשש גדול שממשל אובמה הוא שלוחץ לדחות את הבחירות ל"מרכז הליכוד" בשנתיים
-- כדי לגרום לנו לאבד את יהודה ושומרון, בחסות מרכז הליכוד הישן, השמאלי
יחסית.  לכן, ישנה חשיבות *עליונה* לגייס *דחוף* כמה שיותר חברי מרכז ליכוד
לא-שמאלנים שיגיעו להצביע *נגד* דחיית הבחירות למרכז הליכוד.



דרושים מתנדבים: *לביצוע טלפונים* מהבית כדי להזכיר לחברי המרכז הימניים לבוא
ולהצביע. ו.או  *בעלי רכב* להסעת חברי מרכז ביום חמישי הקרוב ל-22 נקודות
הבחירה.

THURSDAY'S D-DAY!! HERE'S WHY: The Merkaz-Likud (Likud Central Committee) is
extremely influential over the voting behavior of both ministers and Knesset
members, so it can easily determine the fate of Judea and Samaria, Golan and
Jerusalem. Merkaz Likud has many rightwing members - but also
many Kadima-leftwing members who were miraculously installed in Merkaz-Likud
8 years ago when Sharon's son Omri Sharon was powerful.



On Thursday the Merkaz-Likud members are voting on a proposal to DELAY the
voting-in of new members (which was supposed to happen next month) for TWO
YEARS. It is believed that this move is viewed with favor by the Obama
Administration because it will allow crucial government and Knesset votes to
swing to the left, because of the influential Kadima-leftwing members who
are NOW in Merkaz-Likud. In contrast, if the Thursday proposal fails, NEW
members will be voted into Merkaz Likud NEXT MONTH, and these new
members are expected to be far more right-wing and Zionist than the present
Kadima-origin members are. This will push Knesset and Government votes to
the right, which is what we want.



We must defeat the dangerous Thursday proposal!! So, VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED
to drive Merkaz-Likud members who are willing to vote AGAINST the above
proposal, on Thursday (from 10 AM to 10 PM -- mostly in the evening). Also
needed are volunteers to telephone from home from now till Thursday,  to
"get out the vote". These volunteers will get a phone list of rightwing
Merkaz-Likud members and will simply remind them to please go vote!!
