*  לבלום הטעות הבטחונית  **Prevent Next** **Disaster*

כשיש פיגוע מאד קשה - ההגיון חוזר קצת, לכמה ימים, לח"כים ולשרים. לכן, יש כעת
הזדמנות להציל את המדינה מהטעות הבטחונית הבאה המתוכננת לעתיד הקרוב: הפיכת
איזור A ביהודה ושומרון למדינה פלשתינית.

*דברי הסבר*: באיזור A (האיזור הפלשתיני שנוצר בהסכמי אוסלו
http://www.iris.org.il/oslo_2000.htm) יש כבר היום צבא פלשתיני ("כח דייטון"
http://www.agenda.co.il/37/forum/233675). אבל הצבא הזה מתפקד רק
בהסכמת ישראל. כל פעם שהפלשתינים מגדישים את הסיאה, למשל כשהם ייצרו טרור
מתאבדים ב-2002 וכן גם כעת אחרי הפיגוע באיתמר, כפי שיתבהר, צה"ל פשוט לוקח
בחזרה את חופש הפעולה של הצבא הפלשתיני הזה - באופן מלא או חלקי, במשך כמה שעות
או במשך חודשים ארוכים.

לכן, הצבא הפלשתיני שחי היום באיזור A *יחסית* מתנהג יפה (כלומר רוב הזמן -
הוא לא מייצר יותר מדי טרור נגדנו). כי הוא חושש, שצה"ל יזיז אותו הצידה או
אפילו יפרק אותו לחלוטין.

לעומת זאת - הקמת מדינה פלשתינית זה כמו לידת תינוק - אין דרך חזרה. גם אם נמצא
(כפי שעד עכשיו תמיד מצאנו...) ש"לא לנער הזה פיללנו" - לא נוכל לפרק או לבטל
את המדינה שיצרנו או את הצבא שלה, כפי שלא ניתן להחזיר תינוק משכבר נולד, חזרה
לבית היולדות.

בדיוק מסיבה זו הפלשתינים החמושים רוצים להפוך את עצמם ל"מדינה פלשתינית"
באיזור איי: כך יוכלו לעשות מה שהם רוצים. גם ייצור עצמי (או יבוא במטוסים) של
נשק שמסוגל להגיע לתחום קו ירוק. רק השבוע ראש המועצה לבטחון לאומי, האלוף
(מיל) עמידרור, הסביר עד כמה קל לישראל לחסל מפעל ליצור טילים באיזור A, לעומת
הקושי הגדול לטפל במפעל טילים באיזור חצי-ריבוני (עזה) - שלא לדבר על איזור
ריבוני לחלוטין שהוכרזה בו "מדינה"! במקרה הראשון, מג"ד של צה"ל נכנס עם כמה
ג'יפים בלילה והמפעל מנוטרל עד הבוקר. במקרה השני, צריך אישור מהדרג
המדיני, שצריך אישור מארה"ב, שצריכה אישור מהאיחוד האירופי, שצריך אישור מהליגה
הערבית, וכו'. וטילים באיזור איי לא יכוונו "רק" לשדרות הקטנה, אלא כלפי מאות
אלפי אנשים חסרי מיגון בתל-אביב, גוש דן, ירושלים, ונמל תעופה בן-גוריון.

 הקלק על שמו כדי לקבל את המייל או הפקס של הח"כ שבחרת. אם אתה מכיר אותו -
התקשר אליו. אם אתה כותב מייל,  ציין בכותרת המייל: "אל השר/חבר הכנסת כך וכך".
בגוף המייל, העתק, למשל, את דברי ההסבר המופיעים לעיל באדום - או הסבר משלך.
לבסוף בקש מחבר הכנסת או השר: אנא תן לי תשובה: האם הנך שותף לדאגתי מפני הקמת
מדינה פלשתינית באיזור A, אם לא מדוע לא, ואם כן - מה אתה עושה בנידון? אם חבר
הכנסת או השר לא השיב לך תוך יום יומיים - שלח לו תזכורת. בכותרת המייל, כתוב:
"תזכורת לשר/ח"כ כך וכך - אני עדיין ממתין לתשובתך!!" כדאי גם להתקשר (בימים ב,
ג, ד בעיקר).

אנא עדכן אותנו מה אומר השר או הח"כ, אם הוא חוזר אליך. אם לא חוזר - המשך
להזכיר לו ולנדנד לו - הרי מדובר בסכנת חיים!!

*Prevent Next Disaster: *

**

**When a serious terror attack occurs, Israel's leaders become more
risk-conscious for a few days. It would be advisable for us to use these
crucial few days to work strongly against Israel's upcoming big military
mistake, namely turning Area A (http://www.iris.org.il/oslo_2000.htm)  into
a Palestinian state.

Background: There is a Palestinian army in Area A, even today
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_National_Security_Forces.   However,
this army only operates if Israel lets it. When this Palestinian army gets
completely out of hand,  for example in 2002 when its members participated
in horrendous terror attacks (and stay tuned for a 2011 example), the IDF
simply retracts the Palestinian army's freedom of operation, partially or
completely, for a few hours or for many months. Therefore, today's
Palestinian army is RELATIVELY well behaved: it does generate aggression
against Israel, but  not too often, because it knows that whenever
necessary, the IDF will force it to either shut down or move aside.

In contrast, establishing a Palestinian state in Area A is as permanent as
giving birth to a baby. Once there is a Palestinian state,  the IDF will no
longer be able to cast it or its army aside, temporarily or permanently,
even after that state or army becomes heavily involved in terrorism. A
state, once established, remains in existence forever  - just as a baby,
once born, never vanishes. This is exactly why the armed Palestinians want a
state -- specifically - so they would be free to do whatever they please
against Israel without Israel being able to disband them.

Just this week, the new national security advisor, Chair of the National
Security Council, Yaakov Amidror, explained that it is very easy for the IDF
to prevent a non-state from shooting missiles at Kfar Saba, or Raanana, or
Jerusalem, but almost impossible to do the same to a state. If a
missile-producing  facility is found  in Area A, which is not currently a
state, a mid-level army officer zips out there with a few jeeps and the next
morning - the facility is no longer there; no problem. But if a missile
producing facility is found in a near-state like Gaza, (or in  a Palestinian
state in Area A if we make the mistake of establishing one), the army
officer can't just deal with the missile production facility - he needs to
consult the Chief of Staff who needs the Prime Minister's approval who needs
the nod from the USA who needs the approval of the European Union which
needs an OK from  the Arab League, and so forth.

ACTION ITEM: Please could you send the red-marked Background section above,
or an explanation of your own about the dangers of turning Area A into
a Palestinian state, to a minister or MK of your choice (or more than
one!!)? Here's how:

a. Click on

an MK or minister (or more) whose name you recognize. You will see their
email address and fax number.

b. Send her or him or them the 3 red paragraphs above, and add a suitable
question IN LARGE LETTERS, such as: Sir, do you agree with me that a
Palestinian state in Area A could be extremely dangerous for Israel? If yes,
could you help prevent it  and if not could you explain why not? Sincerely,
(name, tel. no., email address, street address). You can add a title, such
as: *Question for Knesset Member hisname from yourname*.

c. If your minister/MK answers you, please can you immediately report to
mattot.arim at gmail.com.

d. If s/he does not answer, please remind them until they do, both in
writing and (on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) by phone.  And since this is
