מסתבר, שהבית החדש בחברון, בית המכפלה, קיבל צו פינוי

לדעת  רב-סרן קובי איבצן, שחתום על הצו, נוכחות של היהודים בבית יכולה לגרום
ל"פגיעה בנפש".****

בית המכפלה הוא "שכן" של מערת המכפלה. זה הבית ליד המדרגות שעולות לרחבת מערת
המכפלה. הבית צופה על מגרש החניה הגדול הרגיל, שם כולם חונים כשהם מגיעים
להתפלל או לבקר במערת המכפלה.****

לכן, רבים מאיתנו מסוגלים לדעת בוודאות, שהחשש של קובי איבצן אינו מבוסס -- כי
היינו בחניה של מערת המכפלה בעצמנו, המון פעמים!!  ****

אבל כבר מזמן הציבור הצביע ברגליים והחליט על נוכחות יהודית באיזור הזה. למשל,

הזדמנות אני מבקש בזאת מן השרים, להעביר אל רוה"מ נתניהו את דעתנו, כי עם
ישראל  כבר מזמן הצביע ברגליים בעד איזור מערת המכפלה. ****

As you may know, Machpela House just opposite the Tomb of the Patriarchs in
Hebron has been purchased by friends of the Jewish community in Hebron. The
new Jewish residents have however been asked to leave the house – by
military order. While the media is claiming that the issue is whether or
not the sale is legal

military order says something else – it says that the Jewish presence in
the house might cause “loss of life”. ****

If you have ever personally visited the Tomb of the Patriarchs, please
contact Mr. Netanyahu re that “Loss of Life” excuse! For example (feel free
to write your own!): ****

Dear Mr. Netanyahu, *re: Inexcusable to confiscate a duly purchased home
citing dramatic, unfounded concerns re “loss of life”*. The Machpela House
is literally next-door to the Tomb of the Patriarchs, directly overlooking
the parking lot everybody uses when visiting or praying at the Tomb of the
Patriarchs. I have been there myself!! There are tens of thousands of Jews
like myself in this area throughout the year.****

So with respect, the military order citing purported concerns re “loss of
life” to justify property confiscation, and signed by a low-ranking officer
named Koby Ivtzan, does not inspire confidence. Mr. Ivtzan’s document does
not give any true reason for preventing the Jewish purchasers from enjoying
their duly and legally purchased property rights.****

This letter reaches you via some good Government of Israel ministers whom I
appreciate for working hard for Machpela House, such as GOI Ministers Gidon
Saar, Yisrael Katz, Eli Yish, Dr. Yuval Steinitz, Yuli Edelstein and Prof.
D. Hershkowitz.****
