כזכור, שלום עכשיו ניגש לבג"צ והצליח לגרום לכך, שהיישוב מגרון יפונה בקרוב -
כי היישוב מגרון "יושב על קרקע פרטית". כעת היישוב פועל - ואף הגיש בג"צ --
כדי לבטל את רוע הגזירה, לאור קניית חלק גדול מתוך הקרקע של היישוב. ****

ביום ד הקרוב 11.7, ממשלת נתניהו תגיש "תשובת מדינה" לעתירה לבג"צ
שהגיש היישוב מגרון. נפנה לחברי וועדת השרים להתיישבות, כדי שידאגו  שב"תשובת
המדינה" ייכתב, שהעתירה של היישוב כמובן מוצדקת (קנו קרקע? אז מדוע לפנות??)! *

לא יפונה? אל תהיה בטוח. *

שמחנו לשמוע שהיישוב מגרון דאג, לפנים משורת הדין, לפתרון נהדר להתנכלות של
"שלום עכשיו": אנשי מגרון "קנו" לפני זמן קצר חלק גדול מהקרקע.  ****

כל זאת, למרות שה"מוכרים" הערבים אינם באמת הבעלים: באיזור בנימין "בעלי קרקע"
בפועל קבלו בתקופה מסויימת קרקעות *בחינם* ממלך ירדן באופן שרירותי - ומלך
ירדן אפילו לא היה שליט חוקי באיזור. ****

כל הכבוד למתנחלים -- שעשו מעל ומעבר על מנת לפייס את נתניהו ואת גחמות שלום
עכשיו: שילמו סכום גדול לערבים תמורת קרקע שבפועל לא שייכת לא לאותם ערבים ולא
לאף אחד אחר. ****

לסיכום, אמור להיות ברור כעת לכולם, שכבר אין צורך לפנות את היישוב
מגרון.  רוב השטח כבר לא "שייך לערבים" ועליו אפשר בוודאות לבנות בתים ולגור.

The community of Migron has bought a large amount of land.The huge land
deal is designed to solve the problem of Migron being slated to be expelled
in its entirety -- dozens of families with many small children. ****

The reason for the decision to expel has always been that Migron is  "built
on private Arab land", a common PeaceNow complaint against many Israelis

Kindly write URGENTLY (preferably immediately, if not then by Wednesday!!)
to all Ministers in the Israel Government who are members of the

The Migron Community has taken  an expensive step to prevent its expulsion
by the Netanyahu government: a large land deal purchasing much of the land
that the community stands on. ****

Migron has made a huge financial sacrifice to placate Peace Now. After all,
the old land registrations bearing Arab names in the Migron area are not
intended to denote private land. Instead, these old records simply indicate
land assigned, free of charge, without purchase, to local Arab chieftains.
Furthermore the generous benefactor of the chieftains was none other than
the Jordanian monarch at the time, whose presence in Judea and Samaria was
illegal!  So, the Migron community should never have had to spend huge sums
of money on this unnecessary "purchase" in the first place. However – the
community has at least completely neutralized any possible complaints about
Migron having "stolen private land". ****

I hear that on Wednesday,  11 July, the Government will be submitting a
State Response formally commenting on the Migron land purchase. Please can
you *carefully monitor* the formulation of the Response, to ensure that the
Response formally recommends that the Migron community *remain on the land
they have paid for*.  Clearly there is now absolutely no reason for the
Government of Israel to expel these Jewish families!!****
