*לקבוע את הטון לבחירות **Set the tone for elections* ****

בעיר האבות, חברון, נרכש "בית השלום" תמורת מליון דולר. זהו בית דירות ענק
- בכך קיוו ראשי היישוב היהודי, להביא משפחות יהודיות רבות נוספות לחברון. אך
לשווא: עיסקת הרכישה לא קיבלה אישור מהדרג המדיני.****

וכעת הפתעה!! בימים האחרונים נודע, שהממשלה סוף סוף אישרה את עיסקת הרכישה של
בית השלום. זהו תקדים התיישבותי חשוב מאד!****

דבר כזה לא קורה במקרה. לכן, פעילי מטות ערים צלצלו מייד לחברון כדי לברר *איזה
איש ציבור סידר את זה*. התשובה שקבלנו: *היה זה גדעון סער* (ליכוד) ומזכיר
הממשלה צביקה האוזר  (מועמד אפשרי לכנסת הבאה).  ****

*כל הכבוד לגדעון סער* על כך שהוא מבין, שנבחר-ציבור צריך לפעול כדי לקדם את
הערכים של הציבור שבחר בו ולהביא הישגים של ממש. ****

מחובתנו כציבור להבהיר לכל אותם מועמדים שמבקשים את קולנו, שנצביע עבור מי
שמשיג הישגים למען ארץ ישראל --לא למי שמציף אותנו בפרוספקטים צבעוניים.****

שרים וחברי כנסת נוספים שרוצים לזכות בקולך *-* צריכים גם הם להציג הישגים
אידיאולוגיים משמעותיים. לדוגמא: קשה להאמין, אבל ממשלת נתניהו עדיין מחוייבת
לדו"ח טליה ששון (שהסתבר לאחר מעשה שהיא פעילת מר"צ), הדו"ח שלה קובע
שההתישבות בירושלים וקווי 67 היא "כיבוש". מי שידאג לכך, שממשלת נתניהו סוף
סוף תאמץ את הדו"ח המשפטי החדש, הדו"ח של שופט העליון אדמונד לוי, שקובע את
ההפך, יעשה שירות גדול לציבור הבוחרים ובוודאי יזכה להכרה ביום הבחירות.



בנוסף להישגים *החדשים* שיציגו כעת המועמדים, אנו נפיץ גם את הישגי הח"כים
והשרים לכל אורך הקדנציה, ואת עמדותיהם בנושא מדינה פלשתינית, *הכל במיילים
נוספים שיגיעו אליך ממטות ערים, מעתה ועד לבחירות*. ****

A minor miracle occurred a few days ago in Hebron, when normally
pro-Palestinian Minister Ehud Barak suddenly decided to approve the Jewish
purchase of Bet haShalom, a large apartment building:

Since such miracles do not drop out of the sky like rain, Mattot Arim
called the Hebron Jewish community to ask which politician performed the
miracle. Answer: *Gidon Saar* (Likud) and Zvika Hauser, another possible
Knesset candidate. ****

Good for Gidon Saar for being respectable enough to realize that candidates
who want votes need to *get something done*. We all need to return the
favor by working to convince friends, relatives and neighbors to VOTE for
the people who get things done - NOT for the people who pay for lots of
shiny colored ads in the newspapers.****

*Accountability:*

Part from the *new* accomplishments which we hope you will hear about from
many other candidates (hint: which minister or MK will finally get the Levy
Report approved?? Only a few weeks left until elections!!) Mattot Arim
hopes to supply all thinking voters with information on the candidates who
helped Eretz Yisrael *throughout* their term of office, We will also keep
you posted re which candidates are opposed to Palestinian state -- as
opposed to leftwing two-staters who are just hiding in the right-wing
parties for their own convenience – so as to more easily sneak into the
Knesset. ****
