חלק מהנוצרים סבורים שקבר דוד המלך קדוש גם להם ולכן הם דורשים לא רק לבקר אלא
את הזכות *לנהל תפילות נוצריות* בקבר דוד המלך, קצת הגיון!! לפני שממשלת ישראל
אפילו דנה ברעיון הזה, שתדאג קודם לתת לציבור בישראל זכות *לנהל תפילות
יהודיות* בהר הבית!



גם בעבר הממשלה היתה קרובה להסכמה  לשתף את האפיפיור בשליטה בקבר דוד המלך
בירושלים - ב-1992, 2006, 2007. איך המזימה נבלמה? כמו תמיד -* ע"י לחץ ציבורי*
. בחודש האחרון, פעיל מטות ערים ותיק ומנוסה בירושלים מדווח ש*מאות עד אלפי
נוצרים מגיעים באופן מאורגן* לקבר דוד המלך *כל יום*. זהו לחץ ציבורי מצידם.
לכן עלינו לנסות להגביר את הנוכחות *שלנו *שהיא בינתיים רק  כמה אלפי יהודים
*בחודש*.

There is a problem because the Pope is expected to visit Israel soon, and
the Vatican has been asking (demanding i.e.) to "share" control of this
historical and religious site with Israel because some say the site has
significance to Christians as well. The matter will be resolved as a
function of public pressure one way or another. Lately, an experienced
Mattot Arim activist from Jerusalem has reported vastly increased Christian
presence at the site. So, if some of us can visit there to increase the
JEWISH presence as well, that would be very valuable. King David's resting
place is just a few minutes from the Kotel. Write "Kever David haMelech"
into your GPS device or just follow the busses since the busses' parking
lot is right next to King David's resting place on Har Zion (Mount Zion,
captured by King David).
