TROUBLE AGAIN
Ruby Rivlin is about to get us into trouble again  by putting the wrong
person in a very powerful job.  Knesset Chairman and longtime Likud MK Ruby
Rivlin is truly a Zionist, but in the past he has sometimes "missed the
ball". For example, in the past Rivlin agreed to pardon Barghouti, the
terror leader (sorry: peace visionary) convicted of murdering 5 and moral
responsibility for many more:

But Ruby Rivlin is a true democrat. He  truly listens  to the public. Please
write to him TODAY, so  the upcoming fiasco won't happen. Here's an example
letter and an explanation of the issues, all in one ( but  feel free to
write your own letter!):

"Dear Mr. Rivlin, it is my understanding that in the next couple of days you
intend to  appoint  Mr. Eyal Yinon, a little known state attorney, as the
new Knesset legal advisor replacing the unsuccessful Ms. Elstein. However,
the Hebrew language newspaper Makor Rishon TODAY published two new findings
about the background of Mr. Yinon.
First, Mr. Yinon was found by the paper's  investigative journalist  to be
responsible for the infamous Religious Council appointments of Mr. Omri
Sharon. These iffy appointments were a disgusting circumvention of true
democratic process, involving appointments of newbie Likud Central Committee
members to well paying Religious Council jobs *

Gush Katif synagogues. This barbaric proposal was strongly opposed by Jews
abroad and even by those legislators who supported the Gush Katif
disengagement plan.
Mr. Rivlin, you have often stated that  the Knesset must be the pinnacle
of   Israel's democracy. Surely when appointing its legal advisor, you will
succeed in finding any number of  alternative candidates  whose convictions
are more conducive to the democratic process than Mr. Yinon's seem to be.
